Overstory is hiring a Staff Product Manager for Machine Learning to lead the roadmap for Vegetation Intelligence. You will drive detection models, integrate outputs into risk models, and shift the roadmap from technical-led to customer-driven.
What you will do
- Own the roadmap for Vegetation Intelligence
- Push detection models further and integrate outputs into risk models
- Run user research and ground priorities in customer decisions
- Shift roadmap from technical-led to customer-driven
- Work with data scientists and ML engineers to ship product value
- Communicate trade-offs and priorities with product and engineering team
What you bring
- 8+ years of product management experience
- Hands-on experience building products powered by machine learning models
- Experience turning a technical-led roadmap into a customer-driven one
- Experience in a fast-paced startup
- Track record building B2B products customers rely on daily
- Strong written and verbal communication
Nice to have
- Experience building geospatial products or working with GIS technologies
- Experience with complex data products including data pipelines and platforms
- Experience building machine learning products for image-based applications
