Overstory is hiring an Engineering Manager for Machine Learning to lead ML and data teams in building impactful climate technology. In this remote role, you'll enable cross-functional teams working with satellite imagery and geospatial datasets.

- Enable ML and data teams to operate as productive cross-functional teams
- Support teams working with satellite imagery and geospatial datasets
- Grow teams by attracting and hiring data and ML talent
- Foster an inclusive and supportive culture
- Provide regular 1:1 coaching and feedback
- Act as strategic partner to Product Managers
What you bring
- 8+ years building ML- or data-driven systems
- 3+ years leading and managing ML or data-focused teams
- Passionate about climate and technology's role
- Experience in high-growth scale-up or startup
- Product-minded with business impact through technology
- Technical depth in ML, data systems, or applied ML
Nice to have
- Engineering mindset with software engineering best practices for data and ML systems
