About the job
Aquablu B.V. is looking for an Engineering Intern to help set up and run the pilot build of their product in Amsterdam. You will work hands-on in a workshop environment, assembling and testing units while documenting improvements.
What you will do
- Set up the workshop from scratch
- Verify incoming parts against BOM
- Use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers
- Assemble pilot units and document issues
- Write assembly instructions for the product
- Test finished units and report failures
What you bring
- Currently studying mechanical, mechatronic, industrial, or manufacturing engineering
- Available for 20-24 hours per week minimum
- Comfortable with hand tools and workshop basics
- Able to read technical drawings
- Familiar with basic measuring gear
- Fluent in English
Nice to have
- Prior CMM or coordinate measuring experience
- Workshop or lab experience outside coursework
- Familiarity with CAD or reading BOMs
- Initiative to flag issues early
